Please take a moment and read through our policies prior to booking

For your stay in Biloxi, Mississippi, the Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast offers a unique, historic alternative to hotels and vacation rentals.  Our Gulf Coast B&B is perfect for romantic getaways, relaxing weekends, and last-minute escapes, as well as group lodging for special events including weddings, receptions, and girlfriend getaways.  See our Specials & Packages page for more information.

All policies are non-negotiable. Your hosts thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Minimum Stay

A 2-night minimum stay is required for all weekends, holidays, and special events. Exceptions can be made, however, so please call us directly for availability.

Arrival/Departure Time

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is 11:00 a.m. daily.   We utilize keyless electronic locks that are pre-programmed for each Guest and includes the two common entry doors and individual guest rooms.  We offer free luggage storage for those who arrive before check-in. We request that guests attempt to arrive at the inn prior to 8:00pm.   Please notify us if a late arrival is unavoidable, so arrangements can be made to check you in after hours.  Late checkout until 1:00 p.m. can sometimes be accommodated for an additional $50 fee.

Early Departures

While we sympathize with unforeseen circumstances, once you have checked in, the room is no longer available to rent; therefore, no refunds will be given.

Rates

Rates are subject to change but do not vary for special events, holidays, day of stay, or season.  Rates are based on double occupancy and include a full gourmet breakfast and free private parking.

Deposit

Prepayment in full is required for reservations of 2 nights or less and 50 percent minimum if more than 2 nights using a major credit card at the time of booking with any balance due upon arrival.  We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Card or a check by mail.

Cancellations

Deposits for reservations canceled with fourteen (14) days’ notice prior to the arrival date are refundable, less a $100 processing fee per room if we are able to rebook the room.  Otherwise, the cancellation fee is the amount of a one-night stay for the room you chose.   Deposits and any balances owed, for reservations canceled or changed less than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date will be forfeited, unless the entire reservation can be resold, less a 10 percent rebooking fee. Travel delays related to airport connections, fog, medical or any other travel issues will not merit credits or refunds.  If you have booked with an Online Travel Agency such as Hotels.com, Expedia, Booking.com, etc. or any of their subsidiaries the cancellation fee is what they have on their websites.  These potential issues can be addressed with travel insurance.

Refund of Deposit

Refunds of deposit less the cancellation fee of $100 will be made if cancellation notice is received at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to arrival date. If notice is given fourteen (14) to eight (8) days prior to arrival and we are able to re-rent the room, a refund will be extended, less the cancellation fee of $100. Cancellations must be made by speaking to the innkeeper. We will not refund any deposit if you cancel your reservation within seven (7) days of arrival of your stay OR if you have booked with an Online Travel Agency such us Hotels com, Expedia, Booking com, Airbnb or any of their subsidiaries. The cancellation fee is what they have on their websites.

No-Shows

If you have a confirmed reservation and you do not arrive, the balance due will be charged to the credit card on file.

What is check in time?

Check in time is from 3pm to 8pm. Late check-ins are no problem to arrange. We request that Guests provide us a text message with an estimated arrival time when underway if possible. We can provide assistance with unloading if needed.

Can you store luggage if I arrive early?

Yes, if you let us know, we’ll be happy to store your luggage until after you check in.

When is check out time?

Check out time is 11am. Due to scheduling of housekeeping services, we ask guests to try to accommodate this time. When possible, exceptions can be made if discussed upon arrival.

Where is the parking lot?

The parking lot for the Rue Magnolia B&B is located at 128 Croesus Street. Your GPS will take you directly there. Park in any open space. Our signs are present and the ramp to the Inn is directly ahead.

Do you allow pets?

While we are pet lovers, due to the historic nature of the Inn as well as allergies of other guests, we do not currently allow pets within the Inn.

Do you have electronic locks on the guest room doors?

Yes all guest room doors, as well as guest entrance doors to the Inn, have electronic locks which are pre-programmed prior to arrival.

What kind of TV Services do you provide?

All guest rooms are equipped with Roku TV’s mounted on adjustable TV mounts. We provide Hulu Live, ESPN+, Disney Channel, Discover +, and all the channels free on any Roku. Guests can sign into other streaming services with their own passwords, ie. Netflix, Paramount, etc. TV instructions are provided in every guest room.

Do you provide free internet?

Yes, free internet is available throughout the Inn.  Passwords are found on a card in each room.

Do you provide an iron and ironing board?

Yes every room is fully equipped.

Can we have friends over during our stay?

Accommodations are provided only for registered guests.  We ask that friends of guests stay for only brief periods of time.

Do you rent the whole Inn out?

Yes we do … call us directly to discuss your plans.

How can I pay for my reservation?

We honor VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards.  We DO NOT accept American Express.  We are always happy to accept checks or cash as well.

Are you within walking distance to the Casinos and restaurants?

Yes, we are steps from Beau Rivage, Hard Rock Casino and 23+ restaurants.  We are in the heart of Biloxi’s Historic District, just off Hwy 90 in a very walkable and historic area.

Do your rates change based on season, day-of-week, or for events?

No, our rates remain the same throughout the year and we do not increase rates for special events. We carefully surveyed the hotel market prior to establishing our rates and feel our rates are beyond just being competitive but also include a gourmet breakfast, historic surroundings, free parking and other expected travel amenities.

Do you do weddings and special events?

Yes, we do all sorts of small scale special events such as weddings, receptions, family and school reunions, birthday parties, etc. We can accommodate a maximum of 40-50 people depending on the preferred setup. Give us a call and we’d love to work with you on your special event.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates towards your reservation still require a deposit on the balance, paid with a valid credit card upon reservation and are subject to all cancellation policies.

Storm Policy

In the event of a Hurricane watch, warning or an anticipated severe tropical storm, we will notify you as quickly as possible as the B&B will be closed during such events and any guests in residence will be required to check out immediately.  We offer guests in residence and those with upcoming reservations a choice of rebooking your stay and applying your deposit to those dates, OR we will refund your outstanding room nights and/or booked reservations with deposits in their entirety less a $50 processing fee.  Such events are not within our control and we follow all local directives.  We will either call you directly, email or text you as soon as we receive notification by our local authorities.

Children

Children over fourteen years old under direct parental supervision are welcome at the Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast, as long as you are comfortable having them stay in another rented room should they not be an occupant in the parent’s room.  All rooms are rated for 2-people maximum occupancy. No sleeping bags or cots can be brought into rooms under any circumstance.  Due to the historic nature and design of the B&B, we are unable to accommodate children under fourteen.

Pets

NO pets are allowed in the B&B.

Smoking

Smoking or vaping is not permitted within the inn for the health and safety of all of our guests. However, we do provide certain areas on the premises where smoking is permitted.  A $200 fee will be charged if you are smoking in the house, and you will be asked to leave without a refund.

Visitors

The Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast is a very private place for rest and relaxation. Use of guest rooms and common areas are reserved exclusively for our registered guests. Please, no visitors to guest rooms and only briefly in common areas.

Parking

We do have limited off-street parking that connects to Rue Magnolia and the B&B via a ramp.  Parking is located behind the B&B.  Set your GPS to 128 Croesus St, Biloxi MS. Unfortunately, we do not have space for RVs, utility vehicles, trailers or large trucks.  The Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast is not responsible for theft or damage to personal property anywhere on or within the facility property.

Items Left Behind

Regular items left behind require you to contact us for returns. We’d be happy to put it in the mail back to you for a flat fee of $30.00 plus cost of packaging and postage. (Larger items will incur extra charges.)

Information Collection

Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience to make reservations at the Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary to achieve this.  All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so by legal authorities.  The Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast does not give or sell to anyone any personal information we collect on our site.

We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your hard drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose to.

Security

At the Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

The safety and well-being of our guests and staff are the highest priority at the Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast.  As we all continue to monitor the variants of the Coronavirus, we want to make you aware of the measures we have implemented to assist in safeguarding the health of our guests.

We are operating with all four rooms and common areas at this moment. We are a small-owned business and are routinely very strict on our cleaning and disinfecting of our home and guest rooms. We make every effort to provide a safe and clean environment for the comfort and relaxation of all our guests.

For breakfast service, you will have the option to eat at a table-for-two or as preferred in the dining room or on the Dining Room porch if you’d like. Please just let us know your location preference when you select your menu items the night before.  The Dining Room is set up to provide social distancing and can easily be set up to accommodate larger parties.

Guest room decorative items have been limited and the rooms undergo intensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures.  All guest amenities, linens and toiletries used or not, are removed between guests and replaced with fresh items.  All coffee/tea bar items are stocked with individually wrapped disposable coffee cups and glasses, individually wrapped condiment packages and individually packaged Keurig coffees and teas.  We are no longer going into any occupied room to daily clean. If there is something you need, please let us know; we are happy to take care of it immediately.

Masks: we are not requiring them at the present time, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one, please do so.  Individually wrapped masks are available in each guest room.  We continue to recommend social distancing in common areas when possible.

Staff have increased their hand-washing schedule to meet or exceed CDC guidelines.  We are encouraging guests to wash their hands frequently.

We have increased regular deep cleaning and disinfection schedules of all spaces within the building, including railings, door handles, light switches, etc.  All rooms have individual HVAC systems with minimal to no crossover of air with other rooms or common areas as long as guest room doors are kept closed.  There are separate systems for upstairs and downstairs common areas as well.

We encourage guests to stay home and seek medical attention if you feel unwell or believe you may have been in any of the areas where you could possibly have been exposed to the Coronavirus.

We miss the Hugs and Handshakes but know this is only temporary!

SPECIAL COVID 19 CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are sick or concerned about being exposed to the virus, please call us at (228-215-7711) to cancel your reservation and receive a Gift Certificate for any deposit paid to stay another time. Please kindly give us advance notice of 72 hrs or as much as possible.

The Rue Magnolia Bed & Breakfast may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners and service providers.
